Steps & Services

  • This is an introductory call to answer your questions about IU-1, explain our process and assess how ChetaDesign could fit your needs.

    Time: 20 minutes. Cost: free

  • Cost $1500. A site visit is highly recommended. Additional charge $180/hr + travel.

    3.1 Site Visit or Phone Call (1.5hr site visit required)

    Advise on location & orientation (site visit required)

    Locate reference set-out points for the house (site visit required)

    Review brief proposed by the client and discuss on-site or over the phone - 0.5hr meeting.

    3.2 Preliminary brief for approval (allow 1.5 weeks)

    ChetaDesign will prepare and send a revised Schematic design brief for clients to review.

    A 0.5hr meeting on Zoom call is scheduled to discuss the proposed brief.

    Approval of brief with comments or agreed changes if required.

  • A return design is sent for approval & final sign-off.

    Any additional changes required at this stage will be assessed at an hourly rate $185/hr.

  • Once the design is approved, a contract is signed with ChetaDesign to secure the license and materials required to assemble your IU-1.

    Flexible options to assemble your IU-1 with a licensed builder or as an owner/builder.

    ChetaDesign will produce your IU-1 at our production facility.

  • Allow 2-4 hours for installation
